Spanish 1 for Teens
A Complete High School Credit Course for Your Homeschooled Teen
An independent, self-paced course designed for middle and high school students to build a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and practical sentence-building—at their own pace.
You want your teen to get a well-rounded education—one that includes learning Spanish. But teaching a foreign language at home feels overwhelming, especially if you’re not fluent or trained to teach it. You are looking for:
A Clear Plan: A structured path that meets high school credit requirements.
Expert Support: A real teacher available when your teen hits a roadblock.
Total Peace of Mind: A course their teen will actually complete—not just start.
Many online Spanish programs are “set it and forget it.” They leave the student isolated and the parent responsible for the teaching. This course is different:

“My youngest got to benefit from starting earning a Spanish 1 credit in middle school! He also loves the class, looks forward to practicing with peers every week, and is learning so much. This is his second year with Señora Morato and we plan to continue through every level offered”.
Adriénne K. – Homeschool Mother
How Spanish 1 Course Works
1. Watch: Short, engaging video lessons teach grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation step-by-step.
2. Practice: Students complete guided assignments and interactive activities that reinforce what they just learned.
3. Apply: Students combine what they’ve learned to build sentences, read short passages, and practice using the language.
4. Assess: Quizzes and tests confirm mastery so students can confidently move forward to the next lesson.

“One of the things I really love about Sra. Morato’s class is the homework videos. Anytime I can’t figure something out and it’s not in my textbooks, the videos always include it”.

Sra. Karim Morato – Language Coach
Originally from Guatemala, Sra. Morato is the visionary founder of Spanish Educational Solutions. She is a Spanish-speaking coach, and certified Spanish instructor with an M.A.Ed. in Online Curriculum and Instruction. With 16 years of experience teaching advanced and immersion Spanish classes in the public school system, she launched her Spanish Homeschool Curriculum in 2016. This K-12 online program is specifically designed to help homeschooling families foster bilingualism in their children and assist teens in fulfilling their foreign language requirements.

Sra. Priscila Salazar – Grammar Teacher
Driven by a passion to help students learn Spanish better by teaching and clarifying complex concepts. Sra. Priscila has dedicated the last ten years to educating, writing, and translating. She is committed to helping others effectively communicate their ideas in Spanish. Her journey began at 18 when North American friends inquired about the nuances of Spanish expressions. Although a native Mexican speaker, she realized she lacked explanations for these linguistic details. This sparked an intense self-directed learning quest, leading Sra. Priscila to study in depth Spanish grammar, spelling, syntax, and writing. When she is not creating lessons or writing she is tutoring students to help them thrive in their Spanish studies.
Our mission is to support homeschooling parents, educate bilingual families, and help learners fall in love with the Hispanic culture.
