Why this Co-op Spanish Teacher and Homeschool Parent Recommends Our Program

We have thoroughly enjoyed using Sra. Morato’s Spanish 1 and 2 in our homeschool co-op for the past two years! We’ve had so much fun learning together and enjoyed our time each week with various games to learn and review as well as adding in some delicious foods from the countries we were studying. We also took a trip to a local restaurant where the kids practiced their skills from the course and ordered their food in Spanish! Our students have grown so much in their Spanish skills and understanding since using this curriculum. In fact, some are planning to continue on with Spanish 3 next year with Sra. Morato!

How it works for Groups
Co-ops and micro-schools can implement the curriculum in several ways:
→ Option 1: Facilitator-Led Model
The co-op teacher leads the class and meets with students once or twice a week for practice and group interaction. Parents oversee learning at home, and the teacher is responsible for accountability, checking assignments, giving tests, and assigning grades.
→ Option 2: Independent Group Model
The co-op teacher leads the class and meets with students once or twice a week for activities, review, and interaction. In this model, the parent handles grading at home. The teacher’s role focuses on maintaining momentum, motivation, and student engagement.
→ Option 3: Live Support Model
Sra. Morato and her team lead live sessions, provide ongoing support, and handle all grading. Schedules and available times are listed on the website.
For Options 1 and 2, teachers receive PowerPoints with class activity ideas, tests, answer keys, and more to support their live teaching days.
As the co-op teacher, you also receive:
• Onboarding support to help navigate your co-op’s specific needs.
• Curriculum bonuses for teacher: FREE access to the course you’re teaching.
